Q: Where can I find the status of my purchase?


A: You can track your order on our homepage www.shoemakermfg.com.


  1. Click on the "Track Your Order" tab.
  2. Enter your Purchase Order Number in the text box.
  3. Click on "CHECK STATUS" button. Your order information will be displayed below, along with a tracking number and a link to view your shipping details.

Q: What is my price on a specific product?


A: If you are a Shoemaker distributor, you can find your pricing information by logging in to our portal link for all standard products. If you are a residential homeowner call customer support at 866.949.0696, or email inside sales. If you do not have a portal account, it’s easy to get one! Just go to shoemakermfg.com and follow the "get portal account" link on the homepage.

Q: What are the outer dimensions (OD) on a specific product?


A: Product dimensions can be found on the submittal, submittals are on each product page.


  1. Locate the product page of the item you are interested in, either by searching or using the Product Finder.
  2. Select the product you are interested in. On the product page, click on the "Submittals / Technical Data / Revit" in the tabs below the product photo. From here select the Submittal PDF to download or view.

Q: How do I figure out the CFM (cubic feet per minute) of a product?


A: Performance data, including CFM, Throw, NC (noise criteria), etc., are included in the engineering performance data sheet on each product page.


  1. Locate the product page of the item you are interested in, either by searching or using the Product Finder.
  2. Select the product you are interested in. On that specific product page, click on the "Submittals / Technical Data / Revit" in the tabs below the product photo. From here select the "Engineering/Performance Data" PDF to download or view.

Q: What are the Expedited Service options?


A: These can be found on our website under Purchasing.

Q: Are the sizes listed on the website the only sizes offered?


A: Dimensions are listed in our Price Lookup tool and when you are creating a quote. Select the product you need and the dimension options will come up. However, many of our products come in a variety of sizes, and/or can be customized to fit your specific dimensions, so if you don’t find the size you need, please contact inside sales by phone 866.949.0696 or email Inside Sales.


Q: What colors are available?


A: We have two standard colors: Soft White and Driftwood Tan. In addition, we have eight Designer Colors that can be ordered for an extra charge. Follow these steps to see the colors on our website:

Q: How do I send my order in for processing?


A: You may send your purchase order via EDI or you may use our portal. It’s accurate, fast and easy and available 24/7. If you do not have a portal account it’s easy to get one! Just go to shoemakermfg.com and follow the "get portal account" link on the homepage. You may also email your order to us and we will take care of it.

Q: Do I need a login to use the website?


A: No, you can browse our catalog, check out our case studies, review Purchasing, download submittals and revit files, use our quick lookup tool for status updates, history of orders and shipment tracking. However, our portal is full of great tools for quoting and ordering and it is very easy to use. If you do not have a portal account it’s easy to get one! Just go to shoemakermfg.com and follow the "get portal account" link on the homepage.

Q: What is the difference between satin anodized, aluminum paint and the other finishes?


A. See finish descriptions:


  1. Satin Anodized - Aluminum extrusions best described as a polished aluminum look. Factory cleaned.
  2. Aluminum paint - Closely replicates a cleaned aluminum finish with the added benefits of powder coat paint.
  3. Galvanized Finish - Steel with a protective zinc coating. Factory cleaned.
  4. Mill Finish - Raw (no finish), factory cleaned.
  5. Powder Coat paint - Baked-on textured polyester powder coat paint with a rust-resistant prohibitive pre-coat. Powder coat paint is an extremely durable finish and holds up well to the stress of shipping, installation, general wear and aging. This finish resists the scratching, peeling, cracking, chipping, fading and other problems associated with e-dip and other painting methods. Powder coat paint also serves as an excellent primer when final paint color is applied in the field.
